The content will range from conservation ecology and biology to sustainable natural resources management with insights into biomonitoring, remote sensing, and effective governance of protected areas for biodiversity conservation and ecosystem restoration.

BESTNATURE course "Theory and applications in biodiversity conservation is composed in two modules:

During the BESTNATURE Field Weeks (BFWs), practical activities will be carried out in National Protected Areas in Italy, Germany and Austria, where students will have the opportunity to put their acquired knowledge on biodiversity monitoring and management into practice.

To apply in Module B, students must have passed Module A. The call will be opened in June 2024.

Students completing both modules (6 ECTS) will be placed on a list of biodiversity conservation experts.
